In Tandem

In conversational collaboration you can’t just talk/paint, you also need to listen and respond to what the other one is saying. You can’t just say your own thing - overpaint everything, lest it becomes an argument. On the other hand, art can potentially communicate things in ways that words or touch cannot.

In Tandem uses the amorphous element of water to portray this back and forth dialogue in a body of work ranging from drawing to video and installation.
